NEW YORK, New York -- Senior Hakim Cunningham qualified for the IC4A Championship, finishing second in the 60 meter hurdles with a school record overall time of 0:08.13 at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship on Sunday.
The Red Foxes placed sixth overall with 34 points, the most points by Marist at the championship since 2009.
Monmouth University placed first with 170 points, Manhattan College placed second with 126 points, Rider University finished third with 96 points, Iona College finished in fourth place with 85 points, Saint Peter's placed fifth with 83 points, Canisius finished seventh with 18 points and Siena College finished in eighth with 12 points.
Sophomore Dietrich Mosel became the first Red Fox in school history to place in both the 3,000 meter run and 5,000 meter run at the MAAC Championship with sixth and fifth place finishes in both events on overall times of 8:35.59 and 14:52.93 respectively.

In other news, 21 Red Foxes were named to the 2015-16 MAAC All-Academic Team, the most of any school in the conference the MAAC announced on Saturday. In order to be eligible, student athletes must have completed two semesters at their institution and must have held a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale when the team was selected. The following student athletes were named to the All-Academic Team.
