• MAAC leader in ground balls per game, 2020
• Ranks second in program history in face-off percentage (.598).
• Tied for third in program history in ground balls (215).

Historical Impact

• This is the fourth time in the last five years a men's lacrosse student-athlete has been named Sportsperson of the Year.
• The most recent men's lacrosse student-athlete to win the award was Brian Corrigan in 2018.
• This is the sixth time in program history a men's lacrosse student-athlete has won Male Sportsperson of the Year.

About the Award

Marist's Sportsperson of the Year Award has been given annually since 1969, the longest standing award in the history of the Athletics Department. From 1969-84, the award was given to the top individual in the class as a result of an outstanding career in his/her sport. Since 1985, the Sportsperson of the Year Award has been given to the top male and female student-athlete(s) in the class based on outstanding achievement in their sports.
