EDISON, N.J. - Marist women's basketball freshman forward
Justine Henry was named the Air Force Reserve Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.
Henry averaged 13.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 3-pointers while shooting 85% from the free throw line (17-for-20) over three games, including two at the 2025-26 U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam.
She opened the week with 12 points, six rebounds, one assist, and zero turnovers against Monmouth.
Henry followed that performance with 21 points, eight rebounds, four 3-pointers, and one assist against #5 LSU. She is the only player in the nation to tally at least 20 points and eight rebounds against the Tigers this season.Â
The rookie closed the weekend with eight points, nine rebounds, and four steals against Miami (OH).
Marist returns to action with a three-game road slate beginning at Lafayette on Sunday, Dec. 7 for a 2 p.m. game.
