Biography
2014: MAAC Second Varsity Eight Co-Boat of the Year, MAAC All-Academic Team, MAAC Varsity Second Eight Boat of the Week (4/2, 4/24)...She and the Second Varsity Eight kicked off the spring season with a second-place finish at the Iona Invite, defeating conference foe Robert Morris. At the Sacred Heart Invitational, she and the Second Varsity Eight claimed first place over Fairfield, Canisius, RMU, and Fairfield in 8:42.60. While assisting the Red Foxes in clinching the Point Trophy at the Sacred Heart Invitational, she and the Second Varsity Eight placed second with a time of 7:55.2. As the Red Foxes reclaimed the President’s Cup, she and the Second Varsity Eight took fourth place in the Varsity Eight competition with a time of 6:08.7.
2012-13: During her freshman year, Shaw began rowing at Marist as a novice.She won the 2013 MAAC Championship as a member of the Varsity 8, and advanced to the NCAA Championship with the team in June. Shaw was also on the Dean's List both semesters and is a member of the Marist College Honors Program
Prior to Marist: At Lakeland High School, Shaw played varsity volleyball for 3 years, was a member of the National Honors Society, and was on Honor Roll all four years. Shaw is also a lifetime Girl Scout.
