BRIDGEPORT, Pennsylvania -- The Marist water polo team is ranked 25th in the Collegiate Water Polo Coaches Association Week 5 Poll the organization announced on Wednesday.
The ranking marks the sixth consecutive week the Red Foxes were included in the poll and is the eighth time Marist has been included in a national poll this season. Previously, the team was ranked #23 in the CWPA's Preseason and Week 1 Polls, #12 in the USA Water Polo National Collegiate Rankings three weeks ago, #24 in the CWPA Week 2 Poll, #21 in the USA Water Polo National Collegiate Rankings two weeks ago, #24 in the CWPA Week 3 Poll and #T24 in the CWPA Week 4 Poll.
The Red Foxes are coming off a bye week from competition and head to Princeton, NJ on Saturday for the Princeton Invite. Marist will play Bucknell (1 pm) and George Washington (5 pm).
