Performance & Nutrition
Our Mission

The Performance Nutrition department’s mission is to make nutrition the foundation of student athlete success. We do so by using evidence-based practices in assessment, education and individualized nutrition interventions to optimize performance both athletically and academically and to enhance overall health and long-term well-being.

Our Goal

Our goal as performance dietitians is to provide education and resources that teach our athletes to live a healthy lifestyle that is sustainable surpassing their years at Marist. We take a food first approach to proper nutrition and teach athletes how to fuel their bodies for peak performance.
