November 2, 2000 -- After two months of solitary workouts, the women's indoor track team is eager for competition. Senior tri-captains Megan Bruno (Freehold, NJ), Kristen Paquette (Schenectady, NY), and Heather Perrine (Wall, NJ), are ready to lead the this tremendous squad into action before Thanksgiving.
Members of the cross country team will be getting a well-deserved rest after another successful season and will not be competing until after the New Year. However, senior Kate Pieper (Cherry Plain, NY), school record holder in the 200 and 400 meters, will lead a strong, talented group of sophomores and freshmen in the 55 through 800 meters, hurdles, and jumps.
The women will compete in the West Point Invitational on November 21st, and at the Cornell Relays, December 2nd and at the Manhattan Invitational, December 9th. The entire team will resume competition at the Lehigh Invitational on January 13th, 2001.
