About The Alliance
The mission of the Black Student-Athlete Alliance (BSAA) is to ensure that all student-athletes at Marist have the resources, support, and community they need to thrive both on and off the field. Recognizing the unique challenges and experiences that Black student-athletes may face, BSAA works to promote their well-being and foster understanding across the campus community.  The Alliance focuses on reviewing school policies, building connections across campus, and cultivating a sense of family among student athletes.   BSAA aims to create a more welcoming and inclusive environment for current and future Red Foxes—one that reaches beyond the Athletics Department and contributes to a more inclusive Marist community. The BSAA is open to all who share in this mission. Membership, programs, and activities are inclusive and welcoming to all, regardless of race or background. 
 
The BSAA contributed to organizing the March Against Racial Injustice.
