The Marist University Cheerleading Team is Marist’s symbol of school spirit.
In the fall, cheerleading supports the varsity football program with sideline routines and a performance at halftime. During basketball season, cheerleading is a constant presence at all men’s and women’s basketball home contests.
The cheerleaders travel with the men's and women's basketball teams to the MAAC Championships in March and ultimately the NCAA tournament if a team qualifies.
In addition to supporting varsity programs, the team competes in a variety of regional competitions and community service initiatives within the Marist community.
