Derby, Conn---The Marist College men's and women's rowing teams competed in the Yale Invitational, also known as "Demolition at Derby", on Saturday, November 3rd, at Housatonic River, Derby, CT.

In the men's eight the Marist B team finished fifth out of 19 schools in a time of 15:01.5, while the Marist A team ended up ninth with a finishing time of 15:29.1. The Red Foxes defeated teams from Rutgers, Boston University and Dartmouth.

In the women's eight competition the Marist A team placed 11th out of 19 schools in a time of 17:46.9, with the Marist B team finishing the race 13th in 18:12.8. The Red Foxes beat teams from Rutgers, University of Connecticut, and Yale on the afternoon event.

The Red Foxes return to action for the 2002 Metro Atlantic Athletic Championships, April 20th, at Orchard Beach Lagoon, NY.
