April 3, 2001 -- Colin Sullivan, former Associate AD for Internal Affairs at Marist College, was appointed Assistant Athletic Director for External Affairs after a 14 month departure from the college. During his time away from Marist, Sullivan served as the Chief Operating Officer of the Hoop Group, the largest basketball camp organization in the world, based in Shrewsbury, NJ.
Prior to serving as Associate Athletic Director at Marist from August 1995 to January 2000, Sullivan was the assistant director of both the Pocono and Eastern Invitational basketball camps and clinics. He also worked with Director of Athletics, Tim Murray, at Iona College as the Assistant Coach of track and cross-country.
Sullivan graduated from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia in 1991 where he was a three-time qualifier and honorable mention All-American in cross-country. He also received All-Conference honors four times in cross-country and track. In 1994, Sullivan received his M.B.A. from Iona College.
Sullivan and his wife, Stephanie, currently reside in Poughkeepsie.
