Women's Track Finishes Strong At Seton Hall Open

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - The Marist College women's track team opened its 2002-2003 indoor season strong, Sunday at the Seton Hall Open.

Sophomore Alison Keller (Cheshire, Conn.) placed third in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 9.41 seconds, while finishing the 200-meter race in a time of 28.35. In the high jump, Keller and teammate Beth Ritchie (Bellmore, NY) placed third and fourth, respectively, at 4'10".

In the 1600-meter relay race, the team of Marissa Artiano (Rancho Palos Verdes, CA), Krissy Rhorer (Gales Ferry, Conn.), Megan Schlittler (Brodhead, WI), and Nicole Thompson (Kings Park, NY), placed second with a time of 4:12.71.

The women's track team returns to action on Friday, January 10th, at the Fordham Invitational at the New York City Armory.
