New London, CT - The Marist College water polo team fell to Harvard 12-2 and to Iona 22-5 today at the Collegiate Water Polo Association's Northern Division Championships being held at Connecticut College in New Londen, CT.
In their first game of the day, the Red Foxes took on Harvard losing by a final of 12-2. Freshman Ashley Woerner (Hinsdale, IL) and sophomore Alyson Fiorillo (Pottsville, PA) scored goals in the game for Marist.
In the match against Iona Woerner, Fiorillo, recorded goals as well as freshmen Sarah Emerson (Concord, NH) and Carolyn Rosler (Blue Bell, PA) and junior Courtney Concannon (Massapequa, NY)
The Red Foxes will continue play at the Northern Division championships tomorrow when they face Utica at 9:40 AM.
