Oneonta, NY - The Marist College water polo team split a pair of games at Hartwick College today, first defeating Queens (NY) 8-7, then losing to Iona 18-8 in Oneonta, NY.
The Red Foxes were led in the first game by sophomore Alyson Fiorillo (Pottsville, PA) who scored three goals in the game. Freshman Jen Gelsomino (Harrison, NY) and Carolyn Rosler (Blue Bell, PA) eached added two goals while sophomore Jen Meyer (Fairport, NY) scored one.
In the game against Iona, Marist goals were scored by Rosler, who had three and freshman Susan Grant (Bell Canyon, CA) who had two. Fiorillo, Meyer, and sophomore Joelle Evanousky (Barnesville, PA) added one goal a piece for the Red Foxes.
Marist will return to action tomorrow at Hartwick College with games against Wagner at 10:15 AM and St. Francis at 2:00 PM
