Final Stats
Princeton, NJ---The Marist College women's track and field team competed at the Sam Howell Memorial Invitational this weekend in Princeton, NJ. The Red Foxes set two new school records this weekend, as they were subjected to windy and blistering conditions.
Senior Liza Grudzinski (Branford, CT) set a Marist outdoor record in the 5k, placing second, with a time of 17:34.51 on Friday evening. Grudzinski was followed by junior Jen Klier (Williamsville, NY) and sophomore Jenn Rosenblatt (Naugatuck, CT), who posted times of 18:25.12 and 18:26.03 respectively.
Freshman Alison Keller (Cheshire, Conn.) placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles, breaking her own school record with a time of 15.64. In the 400-meter hurdles, sophomore Nicole Thompson (Kings Park, NY) placed fourth with a time of 67.88. Junior Susan Golden (Vernon, CT) placed third in the 800-meters with a 2:18.63 effort.
The Red Foxes return to action on Saturday, April 13th, at the Columbia University Invitational in New York City, NY.
