Orange, CA - The Marist College water polo team fell to Chapman University, 13-6, to conclude their California trip. The Red Foxes dropped to 3-8 on the season.

Chapman led 3-1 after the first quarter of play, and added five more goals to take an 8-3 lead at halftime. The Red Foxes scored twice in the third, but still trailed 11-5 heading into the final quarter, before the Panthers pulled away for the victory.

Alyson Fiorillo (Pottsville, PA) and Joelle Evanousky (Barnesville, PA) each scored two goals for Marist, while Jennifer Gelsomino (Harrison, NY) and Jennifer Meyer (Fairport, NY) scored a goal apiece.

The Red Foxes return to action on Friday, March 28th, when they travel to New Rochelle, NY to take on MAAC foe Iona at 8:00 p.m.
