Staten Island, NY - The Marist College women harriers finished first out of five teams today at the Wagner Invitational. The Red Foxes finished with three of the top five and four of the top ten places.

Senior Jen Rosenblatt (Naugatuck, CT/Naugatuck) led the Red Foxes with a second place finish clocking 19:54. Freshman Rachel Watson (Brick, NJ/Msgn. Donovan) crossed the finish line in third place with a time of 20:23 while classmate Allison Kline (Wilbraham, NY/Minnechaug) rounded out the top five clocking a 20:36. Freshman Bernice Patten (Pearl River, NY/Pearl River), Sophomore Christine Peltier (Albany, NY/Colonie), senior Cheryl Norris (Schenectady, NY/Guilderland), and sophomore Mackenzie Klump (Fayetteville, NY/Fayetteville-Manlius) finished seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth respectively.

The Marist harriers will take to the beaten path once again on Saturday, September 27th at the Iona Meet of Champions.
