The Marist College women's water polo team fell to nationally ranked Harvard 8-2 this afternoon as Collegiate Water Polo Association matches got underway at Brown University this afternoon.

The Red Foxes out forth a strong defensive team effort, holding the hot Harvard offense to just eight goals. Freshman Jillian Jefferds and Joelle Evanounsky tallied the only two Marist goals on the day.

The Red Foxes return to action later today as they take on Brown at 7:00pm. Marist will travel to Connecticut College tomorrow, March 28th, to face the Camels at 2:15pm.
