Boston, Mass. - The Marist women's 4x800 relay squad set the school record late Saturday at the ECAC Championships at Northeastern University's Reggie Lewis Center.

The all-freshman group of Lisa D'Aniello, Sarah Domermuth, Lindsay Rappleyea and Christine Wahl easily eclipsed the 9:28.00 record with a 9:20.81 effort yesterday. The women placed third in their heat and 15th overall. Sophomore Christine McDevitt also competed for Marist, running a 9.16-second heat in the 60-meter hurdles.

The women will now begin preparation for their April 2 outdoor season-opener at Southern Connecticut State.
