POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.-Marist outfielder Kevin Grauer (Plain City, Ohio) was named to the Baton Rouge Regional All-Tournament Team late Monday evening.
Grauer went 4-for-7 with two runs and two RBI in the losses to 13th-ranked LSU and Northwestern State. The Red Foxes finished the 2005 season 33-21 overall after earning their fourth MAAC Championship and regional bid in six years and fifth NCAA Tourney bid since 1997.
Grauer finished the season second on the team with a .306 batting average to go with four doubles, one triple, 27 RBI and seven stolen bases. He led the Red Foxes in five postseason games, batting .438 with a team-leading nine total bases to go with a slugging percentage of .563 and an on-base percentage of .550. He also successfully stole the only two bases he attempted.
