BOSTON, MASS: Boston University's St. Valentine's Classic provided the backdrop for another outstanding race by sophomore Lisa D'Aniello (Niskayuna, NY), as she anchored the ECAC qualifying Distance Medley Relay with a 5:00.5 1,600 leg, breaking the old mark of 5:05.4. Sophomore Chris Wahl (Lancaster, NY) led off the relay with a 3:39.9 1,200, and freshmen Laura Reilly (Pearl River, NY) and Maureen LaClair (East Moriches, NY) contributed legs of 2:22.9 (800) and 62.9 (400) respectively. The sixth place time of 12:06.19 was the second fastest time in school history.

The distance crew of sophomore Kerri Mannino (Amityville, NY), sophomore Heidi Richards (Northport, NY), and senior Christine Peltier (Albany, NY) established 5K personal bests of 18:45.16, 19:01.02, and 19:42.13, respectively.

The mile relay team of Wahl, D'Aniello, senior Megan Schlittler (Brodhead, WI), and Reilly ran a season's best 4:05.51.

The women travel to New York City's New Balance Track and Field Center on Friday, February 17 to compete in the MAAC Indoor Track and Field Championship which begins at 5PM.
