QUEENS, N.Y. - The Marist Women's Polo squad had 10 different players score goals in a 12-0 win over Queens College on Wednesday evening. The Red Foxes were led by Katelin McCahill (East Grand Rapids, Mich.) with three goals. Kira Redig (Downers Grover, Ill.) tallied her first career goal in the win.

McCahill was the only multiple goal scorer for Marist as she ran her team leading goal total to 36 with her effort on Wednesday. Head Coach Andrew Silva's Freshman class continued to carry the load for Marist, as six of the 10 goal scorers were rookies. Annalyse Arguelles (Albuquerque, N.M.) added a goal and four steals for Marist, while Kari Weston (Chino Hill, Calif.) picked up a goal and two assists in the contest.

Katy Zweifel (San Luis Obispo, Calif.) and Elizabeth Davis (Albuquerque, N.M.) combined to earn the Red Foxes second shut out of the season. Zwiefel got the start in the cage and made three saves and then was relieved by Davis in the second who made a pair of stops in the win.

With the victory Marist moves to 11-9 on the year and is just two wins shy of the program record of 13 wins in a season. The Red Foxes will be back in action on Saturday when they take on Mercyhurst at 4:30 p.m. and Siena at 8 p.m. at the Siena Invitational.
