POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Marist Director of Athletics Tim Murray announced the hiring of Darren McCormack as Assistant Athletics Director for Facilities and Events on Thursday. McCormack, who worked at Marist from 1997 to 2001, had spent the last six years at Saint Peter's College as Associate Director of Athletics/Business.

McCormack began his first tenure at Marist as Coordinator of Athletic Facilities. In 1998, he was promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Facilities. He became Assistant Athletics Director for Internal Affairs in February 2000.

McCormack received his bachelor's degree from Villanova in 1992, and earned his master's at Saint Peter's in 1996. He resides in Poughkeepsie with his wife, Elise.
