PRINCETON, N.J. - Freshman Jackie Gamboli (Stony Point, N.Y.) of the Marist women's outdoor track and field team ran a time of 4:44.57 in the 1,500 meters at the Sam Howell Invitational on Friday. The meet was held at Princeton University.

Gamboli placed 29th in the event. Her time was 3.39 seconds better than it was in the same event at the Monmouth Season Opener on March 27.

The Marist women's track and field team will return to action next Friday and Saturday at the Bison Outdoor Classic, held at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa.
