STATEN ISLAND, New York -- Freshman Deborah Boerke set a school record in the 400 meter dash with an overall time of 0:58.93 at the Gotham Cup on Friday. Boerke topped the old record of 0:59.4 set by teammate Molly Weeks in 2014, picking up her third record in as many career meets. 

Junior Janelle Solviletti set a personal best time in the mile run, placing 14th with an overall time of 5:12.95.

Next up for the Red Foxes is the Terrier Invitational at Boston University on Friday.
