Men's Swimming and Diving Tops Fairfield 165-121

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's swimming and diving team picked up its second Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference dual meet win of the season with a 165-121 victory over the Fairfield Stags on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Foxes now stand at 3-1 (2-1 MAAC).

Marist opened the afternoon with a first place win in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:36.01. The Red Foxes followed going 1-2-3 in the men's 1,000 yard freestyle with sophomore Michael O'Donovan picking up the win and then took first place finishes in the 200 yard freestyle, 100 yard breast stroke, 50 yard freestyle, 200 yard backstroke and the 200 yard breaststroke.

On the diving board, senior Peter Gallino took first place on both the 1 meter and 3 meter and sophomore Raislan Aiken took second in both events.

Marist returns to action on Saturday, Dec. 2nd and Sunday, Dec. 3rd at the H2Ounds Invitational where they will swim against host Loyola University along with Saint Peter's and Iona in Baltimore, MD
