POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist men's and women's cross country and Director of Cross Country and Track and Field Pete Colaizzo have announced the teams' 2017 meet schedule with start times still to be determined.

The Red Foxes open the season with their annual "home meet", the Marist Season Opener at Vassar Farms on Saturday, Sept. 2^nd. Following the meet, Marist will celebrate the careers of the cross country and track and field senior class with a Senior Day Ceremony.

After the season opener, the Red Foxes will then round out the month of September with the Wolfie Invitational at Stony Brook University on Sept. 9^th, the Monmouth Invitational in Holmdel, NJ on Sept. 16^th and the Paul Short Run at Lehigh University on Sept. 29^th.

Marist then heads to the famous Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, NY for the Metro Championships on Oct. 6^th, followed by split squad meets at the Princeton Invitational at Princeton University and the Albany Invitational at the University of Albany on Oct. 14^th, before wrapping up October with the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championships on Oct. 28^th in Holmdel, NJ.

Following the MAAC Championships, the Red Foxes then wrap up the 2017 season with the NCAA Northeast Regional on Nov. 10^th in Buffalo NY and the IC4A Championships (men) and ECAC Championships (women) in Bronx, NY.
