NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana -- The Marist men's and women's cross country teams were awarded United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic honors the association announced this week. 

On the men's side, the Red Foxes finished with the eighth highest GPA in the country and were one of 195 teams honored, while the women had the 37th highest GPA in the country and were one of 228 teams honored. 

Marist also had a conference leading 22 men and 17 women named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic team in 2017.
