Men's Rowing To Face Temple and Holy Cross Sunday

Red Foxes Will Take On Northeast Competition In Jersey

PRINCETON, NEW JERSEY – The Marist men's rowing team will face off against Holy Cross and Temple in Princeton, New Jersey on Sunday April 22nd.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Foxes entered three boats at the Kerr Cup Regatta on April 14th. The events they entered were the Varsity 8, 2nd Varsity 8, and a Freshman 4.

The freshmen were able to place second and third in the Freshman 4 events. The 2nd Varsity 8 also placed 5th in their event.

The varsity 8 took first place in the first race. They then finished third in the semifinals before making a push in the finals and finishing the event in 5th place.

SCOUTING HOLY CROSS AND TEMPLE
The Holy Cross men's team has not raced since April 7th. The last race they competed in was the GW Invite. The team competed in three races. In the men's varsity four event, the Crusaders finished second. The Junior Varsity 8 boat finished third. The Varsity 8 finished third as well to finish off the day.

Temple last raced on April 13th in the 2018 Kerr Cup. The Owls raced extremely well and left the event with five medals. The Owls won gold in the third varsity eight, freshman eight, and lightweight four, a silver in the lightweight four, and bronze in the varsity eight.

NEXT UP
The Marist men's rowing team will travel to Ithaca, New York where they will face off against Ithaca, Hamilton, Colgate.
