POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - Cross Country senior Shea Bohan won the Pepsi MAAC Student Athlete of the Week for the week of September 5th, it was announced Wednesday afternoon.

Bohan won the Marist Season Opener, running 18:28.2 in the 5k. She led the Red Foxes to overall team victory as the women swept the top three spots and took up the majority of the top ten placings. A senior, Bohan was a key part of last year's program which placed second at MAAC Cross County Championships. On the track, she specializes in middle distance events. Bohan is an Environmental Science major who is a multi-year selection to the MAAC All-Academic Team and MAAC Academic Honor Roll.
