Swimming and Diving Travels to Bryant

The Red Foxes are Set to Compete in their Final Dual Meet of the Season

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist swimming and diving will wrap up the regular season at Bryant on Saturday, January 26. The meet will start at 11:30 am in the Chace Athletic Center.
 
LAST TIME OUT
Both the men and women picked up wins against Southern Connecticut State last Saturday in the Red Foxes' final home game of the season. The men won 183-103 while the women won 172-123. Several seniors had great individual performances in their final home meet including Grace Casolo getting a personal best score of 219.22 on the 1-meter and Miguel Maderia swimming season best times in several events.
 
SCOUTING BRYANT
The men's team is part of the MAAC and finished in third place last season. They are 3-5 on the season and most recently fell to defending MAAC Champs Rider 184-115. The women's team competes in the Northeast Conference, winning the conference championship last season. Currently they sit at 3-3 on the season, defeating Rider 158-142. Both teams will race against Cornell a day prior to facing Marist.
 
MAAC ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Esabelle Gervaio picked up her second consecutive MAAC Diver of the Week award after winning the 1- and 3-meter last week. She has won the award four times this season with a Marist female diver earning the award six times.
 
UP NEXT
The Red Foxes will spend the next two weeks preparing for the MAAC Championships. The championships will take place February 13-16 at the Erie Community College in Buffalo, NY.
