POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Both the men's and women's swimming & diving teams return to McCann Natatorium on Friday, November 15 for a dual meet against the Colgate Raiders. The Red Foxes will take a break from Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference swimming for a non-conference meet, before another MAAC meet against Fairfield next weekend. Colgate has never squared off against Marist in the program's history, so it will be great to see how the two teams matchup. The meet is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.

- On Saturday, November 2, the men's and women's teams both fell short while competing against the defending Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rider Broncs.
- The men lost 181-114, while the women were edged 157.5-142.5.
- Adam Kapusta was the leading scorer for the Red Foxes, totaling 17 points. He placed first in the 200-yard fly, second in the 200-yard free as well as the 500-yard free. His squad also came in first place in the 400-yard Free Relay.
- Sidney Judson finished the day with 16 total points, a high for all Marist Women swimmers. She competed in three events, coming in first place in the 500-yard free with a time of 5:14.14, second in the 1000-yard free and third in the 200-yard free.
- Georgeanne Zimmerman also had an impressive meet with 13 points on the day. She came in first in both the 100-yard and 200-yard breast.
- Esabelle Gervasio had an amazing meet, placing first in the 1-meter dive and the 3-meter dive, totaling a score of 18 points on the day.
- Captain Raislan Aiken placed second in both the 3-meter dive and the 1-meter dive for the men.
- The Colgate Raiders have competed in four different meets this season. In individual meets, the Raiders are 0-2.
- The Raiders finished third in the Justin Jennings Memorial invitational against Le Moyne and St. Boneventures. The leaders for the Raiders in this event where Noah Zeigler, Camden Koch, and Ehran Hodes.
- Colgate's next meet was against Niagara and Canisius. The team finished second in the event, beating Niagara and falling short to Canisius. Justin Song and Andrew Kelemen both finished first and second in their respective events, highlighting the Raiders day.
- Last time out for Colgate was on Saturday, November 9, the Raiders lost to Loyola, Maryland by a score of 209-58. The raiders best racers on the day were Justin Song and Noah Zeigler who finished first and second in the 200-yard medley.
- The Colgate Raiders have also competed in four different events. They started the season off with an 221-84 loss to University of Massachusetts.
- At the Justin Jennings Memorial invitational, the Raiders came in second behind St Bonaventure. Lauren deTorres had the strongest performance over the two-day event.
- Colgate then went on to sweep both Niagara and Canisius, highlighted by the performances of deTorres and Katie Hand.
- The last time the Raiders competed was against Loyola Maryland, losing the meet 202-85. The top performers for Colgate was deTorres and Kiersten Daly.
For their second home meet in a row, both teams will welcome the Fairfield Stags to McCann Natatorium for a dual meet on Saturday, November 23 at 1 p.m.
