EASTON, Pennsylvania – Marist women's tennis dropped a 5-2 match to undefeated Bucknell at the Northwood Racquet Club. The Red Foxes sit at 4-6 overall on the season.

Sophia Chavarria picked up Marist's two points on the day through hard fought singles wins to close out the day for the Red Foxes. Playing in the fourth and sixth spot respectively, both Red Foxes were pushed to the tie breaker set and won wild final sets. Both players have now won three singles matches in a row.

The women will stay local and travel to Army on Friday, March 1 for a 3 PM match.
