SYRACUSE, New York - Marist men's tennis picks up its second victory in a row, defeating Colgate 5-2 at Drumlins Country Club. The Red Foxes move into 2-1 overall.
The first doubles pair of
Piotr Sowinski and
Carlos Moreno won a crucial set against Albon/Gupta, narrowly escaping with a 7-6 win.
Lars Schouten and
Jack Sequerth breezed by Bickel/Dardis for a 6-1 win in the third doubles spot.
Schouten,
Christopher Gladden,
John Oxner and
Kian Yazdi posted singles victories from the second through fifth spots respectively. Both Schouten and Ozner's matches would be pushed to the tiebreaker set, but bother Red Foxes came up on top.
