Baseball Drops Series Finale to #14 East Carolina

Freshman Brian Hart Collects Three Hits and Three RBI

GREENVILLE, North Carolina - Marist baseball (4-8) completed their weekend series with #14 East Carolina (12-5), ultimately falling in the final contest 10-5. The teams were tied 4-4 in the top of the third, but the Pirates stacked on four runs in the bottom of the inning to jump out ahead for the win.

SUMMARY
  • East Carolina scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the first, but the Red Foxes responded in the second with a sac-fly by Robbie ArmitageĀ to send home Frankie GregoireĀ and Brian Hart's first RBI-single of the day to drive in Reece Armitage.
