CHARLSTON, South Carolina – Marist men's tennis wrapped up the weekend on a high note with a 4-3 win against the Citadel. Marist improves to 4-7.

Marist started match with two doubles wins. Chris Gladden and
John Oxner posted a 8-3 win from the second doubles spot while
Lars Schouten teamed up with
Jack Sequerth for the first time all season to post a 8-3 win in the third doubles spot.

Oxner posted the first victory in singles play, taking down Gavin Stewart 6-4, 6-2 from the fourth singles spot. After
Lars Schouten posted a 6-3, 6-3 win against Hobson in the first singles spot, Marist needed one more singles victory to clinch the match.
Christopher Gladden delivered with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Poritz in the second singles spot. This capped off an excellent individual performance for Gladden, who won all his singles matches in Marist's three matches on the weekend.

Marist will embark to Niagara on March 23 to begin MAAC play.
