EDISON, New Jersey - Carsen Horvatich was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week for the second straight week, it was announced Wednesday afternoon. This is her third award of the season.

This weekend at the Loyola Marymount Invitational, the junior goalkeeper made a total of 26 saves for a save percentage of 40.6 against ranked competition. She blocked 13 shots in the nailbiter with #16 Wagner to stop 54.2 percent of the shots on goal. Horvatich helped the team earn the 10-9 overtime-upset over #19 San Jose State as well.

The #20 Red Foxes return to action at the Seahawk Invitational on March 23-24 for games against Villanova, Iona, St. Francis Brooklyn and Siena.
