POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Marist Red Fox Club will host the JTR Transportation 37^th annual Red Fox Club Memorial Golf Outing on Friday, May 31. This year's event will take place at McCann Memorial Golf Course in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Registration for golfers is available online at MaristTickets.com.
 
Tee and gift sponsorships remain available for interested businesses and organizations, though major sponsorship opportunities at the event have been filled.
 
The day begins with 9 a.m. registration and a 10 a.m. shotgun start. The tournament uses a four-person scramble format. After the round is complete, golfers are invited back to Marist's Historic Cornell Boathouse for a riverfront barbecue at approximately 3 p.m. Numerous raffle prizes will be announced at the dinner.
 
The cost is $165 per golfer and $660 per foursome and includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, complimentary range balls, lunch provided on the golf course, beverages and snacks on the course, a riverfront barbecue at Marist's Historic Cornell Boathouse, a tournament gift, as well as many prizes. Items available at the silent auction will include a three-day, two-night stay at a four-bedroom vacation home perched above the shores of beautiful Lake Champlain in Vermont, a pair of US Open tennis tickets located on the loge level of Arthur Ashe Stadium, four tickets to a Sunday, July 28 New York Mets vs. Pittsburgh Pirates game at Citi Field including pregame field passes and a parking pass, and a foursome to Mid Ocean Beach Club in Tuckers Town, Bermuda.
 
Tee sponsors receive a sign at a tee box on the course and recognition in the event's program. Tee sponsorships are available for $150. Gift sponsors' prize donations are featured in the raffle that takes place at the barbecue dinner and gift sponsors are also recognized in the event's program. Becoming a sponsor is a great way for local businesses and organizations to incorporate their brand with Marist Athletics and to expose their business or organization to hundreds of Hudson Valley residents.
 
JTR Transportation, the official motor coach company of Marist Athletics, is the title sponsor of the 37^th annual Red Fox Memorial Golf Outing. Other major sponsors of the event include Associates Golf Car Service and Vutiera.
