POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist Associate Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator
Elizabeth Donohue recently graduated from the Dutchess County Leadership Dutchess program.
Donohue was selected to take part in the leadership program in 2018, and just recently completed the year long program.
"It was a wonderful experience," Donohue said about her time in the course. "I had the chance to broaden my leadership skills and expand upon my network. I also had the chance to meet and learn from various leaders within the Hudson Valley community, and learn about what the area has to offer young professionals."
Leadership Dutchess is the signature program of The Chamber Foundation, Inc. and has been dedicated to educating and motivating citizens to serve in leadership roles within our community. This program was designed to foster the development of a group of professionals who grow and learn together over a nine-month period.
Among many other benefits, by the end of this nine-month program, participants will: recognize personal leadership strengths and know how to use them most effectively, perceive and build on the strengths inherent in others to create powerful alliances to achieve mutual goals, learn how to use personal influence to inspire and develop collaborative relationships, and open a window for volunteer opportunities.
Each Leadership Dutchess class completes a Day of Service to a local organization in need. All community-based service organizations and local nonprofits that would benefit are encouraged to apply.
