LOUDONVILLE, New York – The men and women of Marist cross country will compete at the Siena Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, September 7 beginning at 9:45 a.m. The Red Foxes are looking to keep up their momentum after sweeping their season opener on August 31.

- Last season's Siena Invitational featured teams such as MAAC rivals Quinnipiac, Monmouth, Rider, Fairfield and Niagara as well as RPI and Saint Rose.
- The Marist women won the competition in 2018, placing third, fourth, fifth, sixth and eighth. Quinnipiac and Siena took second and third respectively.
- On the men's side, Monmouth, RPI and Quinnipiac earned the top three spots while the Red Fox men placed fourth.
Following a weekend away from competition, Marist cross country will run in the Henry Mercer Monmouth Invitational on September 21. Located at Holmdel Park in New Jersey, the site of the meet will be the same as the MAAC Cross Country Championships in November.
