POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Six Marist programs – women's basketball, women's cross country, women's tennis, women's track & field, volleyball, and men's tennis – have earned NCAA Public Recognition Awards. The APR measures eligibility, graduation, and retention every academic term. The current APRs are multiyear rates based on scores from the 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18, and 2018-19 academic years.
- Women's basketball was honored for the second straight year and fifth time overall.
- Women's cross country was lauded for the fourth consecutive year, and is now an 11-time honoree.
- Women's tennis has earned this distinction four years in a row.
- Beginning in 2015, both outdoor and indoor track & field have been considered a single program. Marist women's track & field has now been honored for four straight years in this manner. Prior to that, the women's indoor and outdoor programs earned this distinction seven times apiece.
- Volleyball has now been lauded nine years in a row.
- Men's tennis was recognized for the second straight year and third time overall.
