POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Hayley Collins of the Marist women's cross country team was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Female Runner of the Week on Wednesday.
 
This past Saturday, Collins led Marist to a first-place team finish at the Fall Foliage Invitational, which was hosted by the University of Vermont. She led the way for the Red Foxes with a second-place overall finish, which came in a time of 18:23.4 on the 5K course.
 
Collins has been the Red Foxes' lead runner in four of their five regular-season meets this fall.
 
The Red Foxes will be back in action for the MAAC Cross Country Championships, which will take place on Saturday, Oct. 30 at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
