POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist Director of Athletics
Tim Murray has been named to the Division I Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) Executive Committee.
Murray will be the Pioneer Football League's representative on the committee. He will serve a three-year term that will last until June 2024. Murray was a member of the FCS Selection Committee for the previous four years.
"I am very proud to have been invited to join the FCS ADA Executive Committee, having spent the past four years as a member of the NCAA FCS Championship Committee," Murray said. "I am confident that I can provide a strong perspective on FCS issues."
The FCS ADA is entering its 28
th year, with a mission of enhancing the FCS brand. The FCS ADA is administered by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), which is in its 57
th year.
Murray also serves as chair of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Committee and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Awards Committee.
Murray began his tenure as Marist's Director of Athletics on Feb. 17, 1995. Under his leadership, Marist has captured a conference-record 12 overall Commissioner's Cups, and became the first school in MAAC history to win 100 conference championships. Marist has currently won 116 MAAC championships, which is a conference record.
