GREENVILLE, South Carolina – The Marist baseball team secured their fourth win of the year on Saturday afternoon, against the Wofford Terriers by a final score of 2-1.

- Gavin Noriega led off the second inning with a double and was hit in after him and Napolitano traded places. With two outs in the same inning, Reece Armitage hit the third double of the inning and scored Napolitano to put the Foxes up 2-0.
- After a HBP, a walk, and an error, Wofford got a run on the board in the third inning.
- Candelario pitched well only allowing one run in five innings.
- Zane Kmietek, Jack Bowery, and Drake Quinn all pitched in relief and didn't allow a run.Â
- Gavin Noriega led the team with three hits, while both Armitage brothers, Napolitano, and Kapuscinski each had a hit as well.
- Nolan Hester and John Dempsey each had two hits for the Terriers.
- Erubiel Candelario earned the win with 5 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 4 BB, 4 SO.
Marist looks to get even with Notre Dame tomorrow as they wrap up their trip to South Carolina. First pitch is set for 12:00 pm.
