POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist water polo team finished the season on a positive note, rallying from behind to take down La Salle in the MAAC Championship Consolation game by a final score of 11-7.

• After a quiet first quarter, La Salle led 1-0.
• Ella Baumgarten got the Red foxes going offensively with a goal early in the second quarter to tie the game. Madeline Schultz found the back of the net as well in the second quarter, scoring off an assist from Shinae Carrington.
• Entering the third quarter trailing 3-2, Rachel Dean scored less than a minute into the third quarter to tie the game. 
• After an even 3-3 third quarter, La Salle entered the final frame winning 6-5. 
• The Red Foxes' offense exploded in the fourth quarter, outscoring La Salle 6-1 to propel Marist to an 11-7 victory.
• Ella Baumgarten and Viktoria Orlova each scored a goal in the fourth quarter, while Madeline Schultz and Myriam Lizotte each scored twice. 
• Schultz led all scorers with three goals, while Lizotte and Baumgarten each finished with two goals on the afternoon.
