Men’s Swim & Dive Falls In Narrow Defeat Against Fordham

Conable Placed First In 1000-Yard Freestyle Against Rams

BRONX, New York- The Marist men's swim and dive team fell to Fordham 150.5-140.5, Thursday night. The Red Foxes moved to 1-1 on the early 2023-24 season after the defeat.

Highlights

James Conable placed first in the 1000-yard freestyle for the Red Foxes in the meet (9:52.13).
Ethan Gibbs swept the podium in diving against Fordham. Gibbs placed first in the one-meter (294.38) and three-meter (304.21) for the Red Foxes.
Adam Zaremba finished first in the 500-yard freestyle in the meet against Fordham (4:42.87)
Kevin McNamara finished first in the 200-yard butterfly in the dual meet (1:56.44).

Up Next

The Red Foxes return to the McCann Natatorium for a MAAC dual meet against Rider.
The meet is scheduled for Oct. 28 with first swim at 1 p.m.
