POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist men's swim and dive team defeated Rider 156-138 at McCann Natatorium, Saturday afternoon. The Red Foxes earned their second win of the season, moving to 2-1 overall and 2-0 in MAAC meets.

 

Highlights

• Oscar Bjering finished first in the 1000-yard freestyle in the win against Rider (9:57.88).
• Adam Zaremba placed first in the 500-yard freestyle in the win (4:41.97). Bjering finished second behind Zaremba in the 500-yard freestyle (4:46.92).
• Caden Hardy placed first in the 200-yard breaststroke for the Red Foxes (2:09.53).
• James Conable placed first in the 200-yard IM against Rider (1:55.72).
• The Red Foxes relay team consisting of Tim Engel, Christopher Dauser, Adrian Bankowski, and Ethan McCormac placed first in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:06.52). The relay team clinched the win for the Red Foxes against Rider.
