Men’s Swim and Dive Dominates Against Colgate

Red Foxes Earn 210 Points and McNamara Places First in 1000-yard Freestyle

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist men's swim and dive team has a dominate performance beating Colgate 210-78 earlier today.  The Red Foxes move to 3-1 overall.
 
HIGHLIGHTS
  • Kevin McNamara placed first in the 1000-yard freestyle (9:57.49).
  • Ethan McCormac placed first in two different swims.  McCormac finished first in the 100-yard freestyle (45.98) and in the 100-yard butterfly (50.57).
  • Adam Zaremba finished first in the 500-yard freestyle (4:51.30) and the 200-yard freestyle (1:45.26).
  • James Conable placed first in the 400-yard Individual Medley (4:09.61).
  • Ethan Gibbs won both the 1 meter and 3 meter dives (1 meter- 269.45; 3 meter- 263.55).
  • The Red Foxes relay team consisting of Jacob Macrina, Caden Hardy, Kellen Fletcher, and Ethan McCormac placed first in the 200-yard medley relay (1:33.66).
  • Another relay team consisting of Adrian Bankowski, Ethan McCormac, Matthew McManus, and Lucas Silva finished first in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:25.83).
 
UP NEXT
  • The Red Foxes will compete at the Patriot Invitational in Fairfax, VA.
  • The invitational begins on Thursday, Nov. 16 and will go until Saturday, Nov. 18.
