TEMPE, Arizona- The Marist water polo team concluded day one of the ASU Invite with a split. The Red Foxes defeated Salem University and fell to 16^th Ranked Harvard.

 

Match One Vs Salem

• The Red Foxes jumped out to an 8-2 lead in the first quarter.
• Marist led Salem 10-4 at the half.
• The Red Foxes outscored the Tigers 6-2 in the third quarter to extend the lead 16-6.
• Marist won in dominant fashion against Salem 19-8.
• Viktoria Orlova scored five goals on seven shot attempts in the win.
