LEXINGTON, Virginia - The Marist water polo team continued to dominate in MAAC conference play, Saturday morning. The Red Foxes defeated Villanova 10-4 and Virginia Military Institute 19-7.

The Red Foxes hold a seven-game winning streak and stay a perfect 7-0 in the MAAC.

 

Game One Vs Villanova

• The Red Foxes defeated the Wildcats 10-4 in the first match.
• Ella Baumgarten scored three goals for the Red Foxes in the win.
• Viktoria Orlova scored two goals against Villanova.

• The Red Foxes jumped out to an early and dominant lead in the first quarter 9-0.
• Marist kept the lead into the half, outscoring the Keydets 11-3 in the first half.
• The Red Foxes extended its lead to 10 goals in the third quarter, leading 15-5 after three frames.
• The Red Foxes defeated the Keydets 19-7.
• The Freshman Paige Naegle scored three goals against VMI in the win.
• Ella Baumgarten added three goals to her total in the game.
